REPORTER TELLS OF THE PRESIDENTS SIGNING A BILL THAT WILL ALLOW TRASH, TOXIC WASTE AND HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TO BE LAUNCHED INTO OUTER SPACE

SCENE 1b- ABANDONED WAREHOUSE- NIGHTTIME, 2048
TITLE: 10 YEARS LATER
THREE TEENS ARE WALK TOWARDS AN ABANDONED WAREHOUSE. THEY ARE PLANNING TO BREAK IN. THE BUILDING IS OLD AND RUSTY. THE FRONT DOOR HAS A GLASS WINDOW.
THE THREE TEENS ENTER THE ABANDONED WAREHOUSE.
IT IS DARK AND THEY HAVE FLASHLIGHTS.
THEY HEAR STRANGE NOISES.
THEY TRY TO SEE WHERE THE NOISE IS COMING FROM.
AS THEY OPEN A DOOR, A MUTANT IS BEHIND WAITING TO ATTACK.
THE MUTANT REACHES OUT TO KILL ONE OF THE TEENS.
AS THE TEEN #1 GETS GRABBED, TEEN #2 RUNS AND TEEN# 3 IS FROZEN IN SHOCK.
TEEN# 3 STARTS TO RUN. AS THEY RUN TOWARDS THE FRONT DOOR,
ANOTHER MUTANT GRABS TEEN# 2 AND KILLS HIM.
TEEN #3 REMAINS RUNNING AWAY SCARED.
AS TEEN #3 OPENS THE FRONT DOOR TO ESCAPE ANOTHER MUTANT ARRIVES OUTSIDE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE DOOR.
THE TEEN OPENS THE DOOR AND GETS GRABBED BY THE MUTANT.
SCREAMS ARE HEARD AS THE TEEN GETS KILLED,
AND BLOOD GETS SPLASHED ACROSS THE GLASS.

SCENE 1C - CLASSROOM - THE NEXT DAY

ALL STUDENTS ARE QUIET AND LISTENING.

Students and staff… listen closely. A few minutes ago, I was informed that a fellow student was murdered in the bathroom. Please, we need everybody to cooperate and evac- AHHH !!!
( A strange mutant sound is heard from the loud speaker, and a door bang)EVERYONE RUSHES OUT THE DOORS. SCREAMING AND SOME TRIPPING.
THE NEWS CREW HAPPEN TO BE NEAR THE SCHOOL, AND WENT TO THE SCHOOL. EVERYONE IS RUSHING OUT OF THE SCHOOL.

You have to get out here. Everyone’s in danger
REPORTER

THE REPORTER AND THE CAMERA MAN ARE CROUCHING, THEY ARE INSIDE, SEARCHING THE FIRST FLOOR.

THEY WALK INTO A LOCKER WITH A LOT OF BLOOD DRIPPING. REPORTER OPENS THE LOCKER AND A DEAD BODY FALLS OUT.

THEY TURN AROUND, MUTANT IS DOWN THE HALL, AND STARTS RUNNING TOWARDS THEM.CAMERA MAN

THEY HIDE NEAR THE LOCKERSREPORTER

OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL
A COUPLE OF HOURS AFTER THE EVACUATION.

My name is William . I used to be a reporter for channel 6 news. Shouldn’t you be at home.
MIKE

REPORTER
For some reason they locked the building from the outside and no one could come in or out. Hey weren’t you that kid that told me your friend died a few hours ago when everybody was evacuating the building? (looking at Christian)
CHRISTIAN

REPORTER
I made the worst mistake of my life. I tried to get the record for the most viewed program and I became really curious and I came in. My camera man was killed and I barely escaped. I-

SCENE 8 THEY FOLLOW HIM TO ROOM 157, HE LOCKS THE DOORS AND COVERS THE WINDOWS.
REPORTER
Okay, now we’re safe. As I was saying, I barely escaped, but they had already locked the doors. I hid here before any other Mutant found me. I’ve been hiding here for a while.
CHRISTIAN

REPORTER
I snuck into the cafetaria and brought a pack of peanut butter- jelly sandwiches. Do you want one
CHRISTIAN
Um, sure, thanks ( grabs and starts eating)
SAM

REPORTER
We need someone to open the door from outside

REPORTER
They locked the windows too. Only if I could communicate with people outside.

OTHER TWO MUTANTS COME FROM THE BACK AND JUMP ON MIKE AND THE REPORTER. THEY LET GO OF THE BAT. REPORTER GRABS THE OTHER STICK AND HITS MUTANT IN THE HEAD AND MUTANT JUMPS OFF HIM. THE MUTANTS DIES

HELP!!!
THE REPORTER RUNS OVER TO MIKE AND PUSHES THE MUTANTS TO THE WALL AND MUTANTS LANDS ON THE GROUND. THE REPORTER ALSO FALLS ON THE GROUND.

MUTANT TAKES ASHLEY INTO A CLASSROOM WITH 3 MORE MUTANTS.HE TIES ASHLEY TO A CHAIR AND TALKS TO MUTANTS.

MUTANT
You humans...are killing the world. Your artificial satellites... are hurting other planets. You are violent. Why can’t you be peaceful? Like every other creature in the universe. Your waste is hurting us. They are killing us. You should be ashamed.
SCENE 14-
THEY GO OUT IN THE HALLWAYS
MIKE
We need to go to go 2 more floors up.
WILLIAMS OPENS THE DOOR TO THE STAIRCASE.
THEY GO UP TO THE 4TH FLOOR
5 MUTANTS APPROCH THEM, THEY ARE 10 YARDS AWAY.
MIKE
I don’t think we’re going to get over this one.

THE CREW DOES WHAT IS TOLD.CHRISTIAN
